Present your slides on video while reading your speaker notes from a teleprompter right
under your camera. Your notes stay on your screen and never appear in the recording.
Your notes scroll above the slide while you record. The video only shows the slide and
your camera.
How to record a presentation with notes
Open your slides. Open the presentation in PowerPoint, Keynote,
Google Slides or Canva, in its own window or browser tab.
Share the slides in Recvela. Press Start Recording, choose the slides
window or tab, then turn on your camera and microphone.
Paste your speaker notes. Paste them in as the script. Set a reading
speed and move the script so it sits just under your camera.
Present from the floating window. Choose Present in another tab or
app. A small window with your script and camera stays on top while you click through
your slides.
Record and download. Press Start recording in the small window, read
through the 3-2-1 countdown, then download your video.
Works with the slides you already use
PowerPoint and Keynote
Share the slideshow window. Your notes float above it in a small window that viewers
never see.
Google Slides and Canva
Share the browser tab with your deck. Present in another tab and the script follows
you there.
Any screen
Demos, documents, spreadsheets or a website work the same way: share it, paste your
notes, record.
Tips for a natural-sounding take
Write the way you speak. Short sentences read better aloud than slide
bullet points. Read your notes out loud once before you record.
Go a little slower than feels right. Around 130 to 150 words per
minute sounds relaxed on video. You can change the speed while you read.
Pause the script at slide changes. Tap Pause script while you click
to the next slide, then carry on. The time left updates as you go.
Do a 30-second test. Record a short take, watch it back, and adjust
the script position, speed or camera before the real one.
Questions about recording presentations
Can viewers see my speaker notes?
No. The script is only shown to you and is never part of the video. Share your
slides window or tab rather than your whole screen, so the floating notes window
stays out of the recording too.
Can I click through my slides while recording?
Yes. Choose Present in another tab or app, and your notes and camera float in a
small window above your slides while you move through them.
Does it record my voice?
Yes, from your microphone. When you share a browser tab, Chrome can also include the
tab's own sound if you turn on audio sharing.
How long can my presentation be?
There is no fixed limit, but the recording is kept in memory until you download it,
so for now keep each take under about 30 minutes.
